The Investment Committee manages the $2 million endowment fund through a philanthropic portfolio with an emphasis on bottom-up, value investing. Sign up for our mentorship program to get involved with the Investments Committee.
Mentorship is a student-run class where you will learn about the basics of finance, accounting, and value investing. You will be taught about best practices to manage your personal finances, as well as preparing you for a career in various financial disciplines. There will also be a Quant section of the mentorship program, focused on developing technical skills specifically for the quantitative analysis industry.
The program will go over different ways to value companies as well as how to construct a formal presentation on a given equity. You’ll be graded throughout the semester, and at the end may have the opportunity to become an analyst in the Investment Committee depending on your performance in the program.
To get started, fill out this Engage form to join our mailing list and we will begin updating you on the course. The Mentorship Info Session will be Tuesday, January 14th from 6:30-7:30pm. Room TBA.
