Title: Publishing at Nature Computational Science – Why and How

Abstract: Nature Computational Science is a scientific journal from the Nature Portfolio family – launched in January 2021 – that publishes fundamental and applied research related to computational methods, algorithms, and tools developed across various scientific disciplines to help solve challenging, real-world problems. In this talk, I will provide more information about the scope and the editorial process of the journal, as well as some suggestions on how to get published with us.

Bio: Fernando Chirigati is the chief editor at Nature Computational Science. Before joining the Nature Portfolio family, he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at New York University, working mainly on the area of scientific data management, including provenance management and analytics, large-scale data analytics, data mining, computational reproducibility, and data visualization. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from New York University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer and Information Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
